Neil Milne

Born and raised in northwest Victoria in a fruit growing family Neil had a life-changing encounter with Christ in 1966 at the age of 18.  Neil soon knew he was called to serve Jesus when the Holy Spirit spoke to him through the ministry of the late American Apostle, A.S.Worley.

In 1969 Neil began leading his first Church in Broken Hill, NSW, Australia, at age 21, Neil, together with Joy, his bride of 4 months, was thrust into pioneering and leading Churches in the Western NSW, Sunraysia and Murray Valley regions and then went on to pioneer the Albury CRC church in early 1973.

Following an outreach trip to India in early 1979 Neil and Joy received a clear call to this populous nation. Their ministry in India included mass evangelism crusades, church planting and teaching. Neil also developed a partnership with Ralph Mahoney, California (World Missionary Assistance Plan or World MAP) and became the World MAP Asian Seminar Coordinator for over a decade.

While serving in India, Neil and Joy suffered the tragic and heart breaking loss of their second son, Judson. After the 1984 assassination of Indira Ghandi, India’s Prime Minister, Neil, Joy and family lost their India residency permit and moved to Adelaide from where Neil continued to criss-cross Asia for many years in his role with World MAP. Concurrently, in mid 1986 he became the Senior Minister of what is now Portlife church. In early 2000 he became the Senior Minister of Adelaide Christian Centre where he served until March 2014 when Mike Groom moved into the lead role.

Neil has also been strategically involved in Christian Education having chaired the School boards of Portside Christian College and then Adelaide Christian Schools for a total of 28 years.

Neil’s contribution to the wider Church has included serving with several Para-Church organizations including the Boards of Asian Outreach for over a decade and Tabor College for almost three decades.

Across the CRC Neil has served in a variety of roles in the Councils and Executives of NSW, Victoria and SA/NT/WA at State level and for many years as a member of the National Executive. Neil served as the CRC National Chairman for 6 years from 1996 to 2002.

Neil and Joy have two married children and seven grand children.

They continue to serve the Lord at Adelaide Christian Centre and in the wider Church family.

Objectives

This is a Bible Teaching Ministry – by means of Video on YouTube with links from this website across various media platforms. There will also be notes available for some Video sessions.

The simple objective is to make Bible Teaching available to as many people as possible anywhere on the planet.

A particular emphasis will be to teach on the New Creation and the New Covenant. I also plan to provide teaching on how God grows and develops us in to all that He has planned for our lives.

My heart is very much to help those in areas of the world where it is difficult to receive Bible Teaching.

Having worked for many years among Believers and Leaders who do not have English as their first language I will try my best to communicate in a way that is clear and understandable.

My desire is to also provide teaching for those who have a Ministry or Leadership calling from God. There will also be messages on Leadership Development.
